Learn to Play Piano in a Year – Name The Chords – Week 2 (easy)

July 26th, 2010

www.myspace.com www.itunes.com Hey guys My name is Rafe. I am in a band called Trick of Disaster. A few years ago I made a video called learn piano in 3 minutes on a whim, and now it has over 130000 views and gets over 300 views every day. So because of that, I decided to make a lot videos. The idea here isnt to take someone from moderate to expert, but to take someone from beginner to moderate. I try to keep things as simple as possible, starting at the very beginning. It doesnt matter how inexperienced you are, the idea is Im trying to keep it so easy that even a novice student who has never seen a grand piano before will learn something. By the way, I know what you’re thinking! Piano is for lamos, why would I want to learn piano? Guitar is where it’s at! The only people who play piano are old fogies who are dead like Beethoven, Bach, and other crappy old composers. But there are actually tons of cool bands that play piano! Here are just a few: John Mayer, Coldplay, Elton John, The Fray, Aliscia Keys, The Beatles, The Fray, Gavin Degraw, Radiohead, Muse and Eminem!

Secrets to How to Learn to Play Piano Online, the Fun and Easy Way

July 10th, 2010

Much like with the guitar-playing course, Jamorama, I approached Rocket Piano with ZERO previous musical instrument knowledge. So I was quite interested to see what it could do for my useless piano fingers. Nothing, and no one, else had been able to make them work before!

That’s when “The Piano Guy” entered my life.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

If you are learning the piano, either as a beginner (like me) or as a slightly more advanced player, you can appreciate how frustrating it is learning the skills and techniques without seeing any noticeable results. Seriously, the time and effort that many put into exercises don’t seem to be reflected in their standard of playing. There also seems to be a frustration in the lack of quality information on the market.

Fortunately, Rocket Piano is different.

In addition to the quality information in the glossy 3 book series, you also get hundreds of sound files that explain how to play, so you can hear what your playing is supposed to sound like. The songs are broken down into pieces, which enables the student to learn each piece before they are ready to tackle the whole song. Just by being able to play these songs, I really amazed my friends and family, who before were used to my useless fingers! That ALONE was worth the low price of the course. I never felt so confident, and I love it.

In addition to this, the pro version of Jayde Musica is now available as a free bonus as well as Perfect Your Pitch Pro, a useful program that is designed to give the student the ability to tune their ear to recognize notes and transcribe songs from the radio. Both of these programs are very well made and presented, and most of all are easy and fun to play.

Even better, that’s not even all you get. With my purchase, I also got two additional free bonus books on how to learn to play the piano. The first is “Advanced Learning Techniques for Piano”. This book introduces the idea of mental visualization, which is a powerful tool in speeding up your rate of learning. Mental visualization uses the same pathways inside your brain other than the fact you are not performing the activity physically.

The second bonus book, “How to tune your piano” solves the problem with tuning pianos, and introduced me to the most effective way of tuning a piano. Interesting stuff, believe it or not.

With all of the information in this package there really is no excuse to delay learning to play your piano. If I can do it, you can, too!

But as if all that weren’t enough, The Piano Guy ALSO threw in free email consultations to customers who may have specific issues or problems that need addressing. This is of enormous benefit to students, like me, who need specific answers to their training queries.

And yes, they answer more than one question, even though they don’t have to! Niiice.

This package is by far the most complete and fresh approach to piano playing that I have seen in a long time. I highly recommend this product because,

1. If I can learn how to play piano well with this course, ANYONE can!

2. I do believe it will deliver results and have you playing popular songs like a professional using the most effective techniques. There is something here for every piano player, regardless of ability. As you get better, you’ll be met by more challenging and useful lessons. That’s the way it hsould be.

And at the current cost, it really is worth every dollar spent–I know for a fact you won’t even find a used piano stool for this low!

WORTH A BUY? Yes. Really, whether you’re a first-time player (like me) or more advanced, you owe it to yourself to buy Rocket Piano.

Lots of products offer a free e-newsletter that gives you everything you need to know in it. But if you really want to learn to play piano, then you definitely to get both the free newsletter AND the full Rocket Piano course. For $39.95, you really can’t go wrong (but if you feel you did, there’s a 2-month satisfaction guarantee!)

How to Play Piano Chords – Is it Really Easy to Learn?

June 12th, 2010

People often ask if they are too old or not to learn playing the piano. That is a very common question that most aspiring adults ask. Luckily, the answer is that learning can always take place no matter what the age of the person is. As long as an individual shows willingness and determination to learn, the goal can always be reached. However, if you are really interested to learn, you should start right away. You may ask why, it’s because learning is a never-ending process and you will still have a lot to learn! So start as early as now.

The best question that you have to ask yourself is how you can learn quickly and remember all the things that you have learned. The answer to that is to never try learning all the things at once. You may end up stopping on what you have started. If you are trying to grasp it all in an instance, you will end up learning less and slow.

The prime things that you should consider is: How much detail can you absorb that can result to you learning fast? What is really the focus here is how well you can absorb all the information that you need to know to learn smoothly and quick. To add more, you have to practice often.

Can you probably learn it fast?

Definitely yes! If you want to learn playing piano music fast and easy, you will have to remember the formula 10 – 24 /.

You may ask, what does that mean? Let me explain. 10 symbolize the energy that you need to have during the entire lesson. You can only learn things at once so try not to force yourself of memorizing everything. Don’t ever put many heaps of sheet music on you piano. Surely, stress will make its way to you. A single aspect of piano should be learned one at a time. Give your 100% performance when you are doing your practice or exercises. In doing this, you are unaware but you are progressing quickly.

Repeat the lessons 24 hours later after you are done with it. Everyday, you must give a 100% shot energy to all of your lessons and don’t forget you must have it at level 10. Doing things one step at a time and not stepping on the next topic without fully mastering the current lessons will make you learn piano easily. After a week, you can proceed to the next topic that you need to tackle. If you maintain this kin d of attitude, your memory will be enhanced up to 80%. This will surely be effective if you just hold on to our 10 – 24/7 routine!

You’ll see yourself staring at easy piano music the next time without even fully aware that you have progressed real well. Just stay dedicated and determined in fulfilling the above mentioned task for you to be able to go along well though it may get difficult at times. Accelerated learning, this is the most proper term for it. When you attend seminars made by the top piano players, you can hear them teaching you the same thing. If you apply the accelerated learning technique though you are just a beginner, you will surely succeed on your plans of becoming a good pianist in the future!
